About Rana Public School
Rana Public School is An English Medium co-educational school affiliated to C.B.S.E.,New Delhi. It came into existence in 2011, is a non-profit philanthropic educational institution.When it was established at Powayan, it has a single Academic Wing. Today it is spread over another beautiful Academic block equipped with modern sanitation and vast Sports Complex at Baidapur,Nigohi with the aim of imparting modern scientific education keeping in view of Indian Culture and Global perspective. The school aims to develop the inherent quality of the child so as to strengthen the young generation, desirable attributes of character like honesty, courage, self-confidence, integrity and resourcefulness. The school is set up to foster creativity and cultivate positive attitude with an open minded approach for 21st century challenges, and to enable them to stand for the ideals of the freedom and independence which constitute the core of working ethics of the Institution in an uncompromising manner.
The school is alive to the challenge of moulding students to be lifelong learners by developing their skills as academic achievers, progressive thinkers, effective communicators and empowered citizens who “think local but act global”. We strongly believe that there is a bright child in every child. Each child is endowed with intelligence and ability and special talent. Our aim is to manifest these talents so that they may be resplendent, not only through their period of learning in school but throughout their life.
RPS provides a full schooling programme for 3 to 18 year olds with the university entrance qualification for the older students. It is based on CBSE pattern.
For the primary school curriculum, it emphasises general education and covers the basic subjects such as writing and arithmetic, geography, reading, supplemented by history, general science and civics. As for the secondary school curriculum, it is more specific and specialised as it approaches all core subjects which allow opportunities to try a board range of subjects like Business Studies, Language, IT, and The Arts.
